The Founding Team

      Amita Menon – Co-Founder

“Education can change society!”- It is this belief and passion that has lead to  Amita working with children and parents towards creating a world of successful learners and with her brand Highq

Amita has a Masters Degree in Economics and International Economics having studied both Math and Economics at a high level.

With a clear belief that education can help break the glass ceiling, Amita’s well researched programmes provide a platform where education is imparted in a holistic manner with the intent of creating the next generation of well balanced individuals. She believes education is more than mere teaching but in fact mentoring and this is what her programmes do – teaching, mentoring and guiding students globally towards maximising their potential.

“Education should be available to all”- Highq is just getting ready to launch the 1^st ever e-learning platform which will provide a holistic learning experience to students and parents globally.

She has drawn on skills acquired in her early working life where more than 15 years was spent in a Large Global Bank, where she held a number of senior roles (local, regional and global) from handling key clients to managing teams of people across geographies, as well as training them.

 

Poonam Lall – Co-Founder

Poonam Lall  joined HighQ as a co-founder to create, conceptualise and develop the e-learning platform.  With over  25 years of experience in developing commercial software across a variety of platforms and in a variety of roles Poonam brings with her a wealth of experience and is an expert in her field not to mention being a much respected member in her field.  In her previous role as head of Engineering at a  medical software company in the United states of America , she was instrumental in pioneering and architecting the entire development from scratch to co-ordinating all activities associated with delivering software across multiple functional areas and products. She has successfully transitioned the company’s development process from a waterfall process to a fully agile development approach using scrum, extreme programming and test driven development. Poonam has architected the data warehouse and the business intelligence platform which form the base of the Medisolv suite of products.

Prior to joining Medisolv, Poonam also worked with Ultraprise Loan Technologies, developing a system for the secondary mortgage industry, Compuware Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation (India).
